Join Game. Set. Change. for an exhilarating off-court athletic training program led by Coach NT, our accomplished youth sports training intern. With over 15 years of personal training experience and a passion for rugby, Coach NT brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to our sessions. This program is designed to enhance on-court performance, boost general movement confidence, and foster a love for physical fitness in our young athletes.
Tailored Programs for Every Age Group
Coach NT has meticulously developed training modules for three age groups, each with age-specific activities and workouts. These easy-to-follow routines require minimal equipment, making them accessible and effective. Plus, get excited about our upcoming Mentor-Mentee Buddy Training, fostering bonds and fitness together!
Training Details:
Our off-court training sessions run from May to September 2022, held outdoors in all weather conditions, excluding lightning or severe weather alerts.
Ages 5-8:
- When: Tuesdays, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM & Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
- Focus: Emphasis on foundational athletic skills, coordination, and introducing movement basics in an environment that's both fun and nurturing.
Ages 9-12:
- When: Thursdays, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM & Sundays, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
- Focus: Focusing on refining athletic skills, balancing tennis movements with general fitness activities. This program is designed to enhance agility, speed, and coordination in an engaging setting.
Ages 13-16:
- When: Tuesdays, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM & Saturdays, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- Focus: Concentrating on developing overall fitness, strength, and endurance with varied exercises. The aim is to establish consistent exercise routines, promote physical health awareness, and build self-motivation and discipline.
Mentor-Mentee Buddy Training:
- When: Tuesdays, 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM & Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
- Focus: This unique training brings mentors and mentees together for joint fitness sessions. It's designed to foster teamwork, encourage mutual learning, improve accountability, and enhance interpersonal skills. Sessions include cooperative exercises, partner workouts, and team-building activities, all aimed at strengthening the bond between mentor and mentee while promoting physical fitness and well-being.
Meet Coach NT
Coach NT is more than a trainer; she's a mentor and motivator. Her approachable style and deep understanding of youth sports training make every session impactful, ensuring that each young athlete can realize their potential both in sports and in life. She has a wealth of experience in personal training and coaching high level athletes and is interning with GSC to tackle the challenge of building programs that kids will want to do with minimal equipment.
